Levi x Reader Reunion

 
 You are just ten years old and your 12 year old best friend just dared both you and him to venture outside the walls. This was nothing new; you two dared each other to do things like this all the time. But you smile at him anyway and say it's hardly a dare if its that easy, a mischieveous glint in your eye. He merely makes a, "Tch," sound. You grab his hand and together you sprint for the wall. He being a boy and therefore not having to wear dress wins the race. And even though he does his best to remain emotionless you can see him smiling through he steely grey blue eyes as he pushes his black bangs out of his face. Together, you stealthily sneak past the drunk soldiers guarding the gate entrance and you soon find yourselves in an open field. "So this is what the outside world looks like. Tch, looks barren," says your friend disdainfully. You roll your eyes as you look around in awe. You grab his hand and run him to the edge of the forest. "See? I told you. . . giant trees that can even block the sunlight." you stare in awe until you hear an approaching thumping. You to come face to face with two titans.

Your eyes grow large but your friend comes quickly to his senses. He grabs your hand and starts pulling you back to the gate. Your only slowing him down what with your over sized dress. But he keeps pulling you along and you both are near the wall when you can hear what sounds like the titans dying. You turn around to see the survey corps nearing you. Your heart leaps with joy since you know you'll see your parents again. You were getting tired of always having to stay at your friends house. Two soldiers pull up beside both of you and carry you the rest of the way to the walls. Once there, a man you recognize as commander Erwin pulls up next to you. Are you (f/n) daughter of the (L/n) couple. You slowly nod and he hangs his head. "They fought bravely till the end," he informs you. Your heavy breaths build up from shaking to sobbing to screaming. He hesitates before grabbing you up and setting you on his horse, " I promised them I would take care of you," he says calmly. He then clicks his tongue and nods his head, "To wall Sina! He commands his men. And the horses pull forward as you start to panics. You see your friend being left behind so you start screaming his name,

"Levi!"

You can't stop screaming for him. He is now running along Erwin's horse. You struggle and even try to jump off the horse but Erwin holds you in an iron grip. "Levi, no, Levi I'm sorry," you keep yelling over and over again. One of the soldiers knocks Levi out of the way and this provokes more shrieks from you. You continue to sob the name Levi even after you arrive at the military base. Even after a young female cadet named Hanji puts you to bed. For months you say his name until one day you lose hope.
