Levi x Reader Play it again

If you had the option, you would kill everyone in your legion; it was one of those days. Jean and Eren were fighting non stop, Reiner flirting escalated to the point of a proverbial nosebleed, and Armin wouldn't stop freaking crying after Heichou yelled at him in training. So sitting there in the cafeteria that night you wore a look that made everyone, yes even Reiner, keep their distance. You excused yourself early and were heading for the dorms when Eren, Jean, Reiner, and Bertholdt bolted past you running at full speed. Jean was polite enough to tell you to run as well. "Why?" you asked not making any attempt at hiding how annoyed you were. He quickly explained how he and the guys had stolen some of Heichou's cleaning supplies. You wanted to slap the grin off his face when you heard the clacking of Levi's boots approaching. He flashes you a crooked smile and runs off and you run in the opposite direction, ducking into the first room I saw.

The room was empty except for a lone grand piano. It seemed rather out of place at a military place, but you strode over to it non the less and sat down on the bench. Your ran your hands over the keys and closed your eyes. You could see it so clearly in your head. That day so long ago when your mother called you over and told you you were going to learn to play the piano. She had worked with you every day till you were the best in the district. But that was before. . .

You chased the thought from your mind and then positioned your hands on the keys. You then started playing a simple yet intricate and beautiful lullaby your mother had taught you. It brought peace to your troubled mind. About halfway through the song, you noticed there was another person in the room and you stopped playing so you could look up at; Levi Heichou?! he walked over and leaned against the side of the piano. "Please," he said calmly, "keep playing." You hesitated but then continued to play. You notice Heichou had his eyes closed as he listened to you play. You finished the song without having made a single mistake. Levi said nothing and you just stood there stroking the keys. You felt uneasy, so you stood up and headed for the door. "Oh (y/n)," Levi called turning around, "Will you play it again tomorrow?" You smile quite genuinely for the first time in a long time. "Of course," you replied nodding. And then turned around still smiling and left while Levi smirk and closed the lid of the piano.
